Coming together or drifting apart?

How values, attitudes and beliefs have changed in the UK over the last four decades

The World Values Survey is one of the largest and most widely used social surveys in the world. Since 1981, it has captured the views of almost 400,000 respondents in over 110 countries, covering topics including cultural identity, migration, trust, empathy, tolerance, media consumption, political interest, the environment and more.

For the first time in over 15 years, the UK will be a full participant in the WVS, generating new insights and revealing new trends that will further our understanding of values, attitudes and beliefs during a period of profound change.
